The only downfall to Shopify is that transaction fees exist. Although, you can waive the transaction fees by going with the $179 per month plan. If you cannot afford that plan, 2% is not a big deal and will not have a major impact on your profit. For every $1,000 that you process, you end up paying $20 in transaction fees. If you plan on processing over $8,000 in transactions per month, than you are better off going with the $179 plan as it will come out cheaper at the end.
